The Game of the Year Edition release of Cognition on the GOG distribution platform includes the following:

• Cognition: Episode 1 - The Hangman (GOTY version)
• Cognition: Episode 2 - The Wise Monkey (GOTY version)
• Cognition: Episode 3 - The Oracle (GOTY version)
• Cognition: Episode 4 - The Cain Killer (GOTY version)
• Volume 1 OST (27 tracks)
• Volume 2 OST (25 tracks)

Unlike the GOG release, the Steam release only has the first soundtrack volume. The second volume can be purchased separately.

The GOTY versions of the episodes contain exclusive content which includes making-of videos, concept art, storyboard and other development material.
