Cognivox (included games)
Description
The Cognivox is a hardware peripheral for the Exidy Sorcerer that allows for speech-to-text input and can speak sixteen different words. In addition the device can serve as a speaker to generate music and sound effects in computer programs.
Included with the Cognivox is a bundle of software including the basic driver, two application program packs, a talking calculator and two games:
- Voth/Vothello is a version of Othello which uses voice input for the player to dictate where the pieces should be placed.
- Voicetrap is a lightcycle game which is voice activated. The computer and player try to box each other in. Multiple game speeds are provided.
