Command & Conquer: Red Alert

Command & Conquer: Red Alert is a real-time strategy game set between Command & Conquer: Yuri's Revenge and Command & Conquer: Red Alert 3. Players take control of the Allies or the Soviets in campaign mode, with each side having a unique five-mission campaign, or in skirmish mode on two available maps. The story is told through text-based mission briefings rather than through cutscenes.

Gameplay is more or less the same as other games in the series: construct bases and command troops. Only resource management has been dumbed down. Units and buildings are selected and moved by tapping on them and on different areas on the map. Navigating the battlefield is done by dragging and scrolling on the touchscreen; zooming by pinching the screen.

In 2010, the game received a free expansion pack with the Empire of the Rising Sun faction from Red Alert 3, as well as new campaign missions made exclusively for them.
