The updated release from 7 March 2024 was compiled from scratch with community involvement to alleviate known compatibility issues, and released the games with their respective map editors where applicable (with FinalSun and FinalAlert source codes being distributed in the installation directories). This was the debut of the package (and pre-Tiberium Wars titles as a whole) on Steam, while EA App received an update on the same day to keep the games synchronized.
