Commandos 2: Men of Courage

Commandos 2: Men of Courage is a real-time tactics game set during World War II, placing players in command of an elite squad of Allied operatives conducting covert missions behind enemy lines. The game’s narrative spans from 1941 to 1945 and unfolds across diverse theatres, including Europe and the Pacific - through both cinematic briefings and mission-based action that evoke classic wartime storytelling.

Gameplay features a tactical isometric perspective where each mission assigns a subset of commandos - each with unique abilities including the Green Beret, Sniper, Diver, Spy, Thief, Seductress, Driver, Sapper, and even a canine companion - to accomplish both primary and secondary objectives. Players must stealthily infiltrate, manipulate environments, and complete tasks by leveraging the commandos’ varied skills. Some missions also grant access to additional allies when discovered during play.

Distinctive for its expanded interactivity compared to its predecessor, the game allows entering buildings, peeking or shooting through windows, and utilizing environmental objects.
