Game cover: Conceptor

Description

Conceptor is an educational game designed to identify concepts.

A series of pictures, diagrams, or words are displayed on the screen. Some of these images will rule in for a concept, and some of these will rule out for a concept, but the identity of the concept is the player's to determine. The computer will display the first 2 images, one will rule out and one will rule in. For the next 18 images, the player must correctly decide if the object displayed meets inclusion or exclusion criteria. The player is allowed to make up to 4 mistakes for 18 guesses, or they fail the concept. The player receives bonus points when they make no mistakes on a line. At the end of each concept, the player receives extra points if they correctly identify the concept in question.

The player starts at rookie level, and can advance a level if they successfully complete 3 concepts before losing 3 times. Each level has progressively more difficult concepts to identify. The player's goal is to reach maximum rank of Conceptor.
