Contagion

Contagion is a first person shooter and survival horror game. It features eight player cooperative and 16 player competitive gameplay.

Contagion takes place in a modern city that became infested with zombies. Players often need to work together to get through the zombies unharmed and save people and themselves.

The game features three different game modes:

• Escape is a cooperative mode where players are dropped into the city and must find their way out of there. To accomplish this, players must salvage what they can and avoid any zombies where possible. The players must complete a series of small objectives, for example finding a key, to eventually make it out of town.
• Extraction is somewhat different from Escape. This too is a cooperative mode, but now players have to see AI characters from the city. Players have to search the city for the people and save a select number.
• Hunted is competitive mode where 16 players fight each other in a free for all style. Players have to fend of each other whilst still being attacked by AI zombies.

In all three game modes, when the player dies, the player turns into a zombie and must assist the AI controlled zombies in killing the other players.
