Content Warning

Description
Content Warning is a cooperative online horror survival game for two to four players. It builds on the concept of earlier titles like Phasmophobia and Lethal Company letting players investigate together. The game starts in a colorful, peaceful and cozy environment that acts as a hub. Players can design their character using an ASCII face and then start by entering a large diving bell that provides access to a location known as the Old World.
It is a dark and maze-like environment filled with physics-driven monsters that are randomized for each game. One member of the squad acts as a the director, holding a film camera. More than merely surviving, the director needs to film spooky stuff the members encounter and at least one person needs to survive and return using the diving bell. The director can start and stop filming at any moment as only a small amount of footage can be recorded because of a limited battery. There is also oxygen to take into account, so swift movement is needed.
Because creatures need to be found, without getting too close so as not to get killed, and because of the physics, there are a lot of silly moments. Players are also encouraged to use proximity voice chat to talk to each other and provide comic relief. Once back in the hub, the footage is automatically processed into a single clip the members can watch together on a couch with a big screen. The video is uploaded to SpöökyTube and the goal is to get a lot of viewers and go viral. This provides a currency that can be used to buy additional props such as boom mike, a clapper or a defibrillator to revive fallen members. Flashlights can be picked up as well. There are also medical costs for members that are taken out by creatures. Players continue new descents for three days as long as at least one member returns and there are a sufficient number of viewers for each video.
Optionally the clip can also be downloaded as a video to the players' desktop.
