Coronation St.: The Mystery of the Missing Hotpot Recipe

Coronation St.: The Mystery of the Missing Hotpot Recipe is a hidden object game starring the cast of Coronation Street. When Betty hears a rumor that the rival pub Weatherfield Arms is attempting to find her hotpot recipe, she tears up the recipe; when she is about to throw it away, however, a gust of wind blows it away, scattering the pieces across Coronation Street. Betty pulls in her friends to help find the pieces before they fall into their clutches.

Gameplay is primarily a series of hidden object scenes using environments of the show. The player is given a list of items to be found, and a scene where they can be found. A recharging hint button helps with anything tricky to find. After all items in the scene have been found, the player will then need to find the piece of the hotpot recipe. Minigames also exist, such as a plumbing minigame where the player needs to rotate all the pipe sections so there are no open ends, and a safe opening minigame where the player needs to follow the cryptic directions to get the combination correct.
