Cribbage Champion
Description
Cribbage Champion is a single player vs computer, shareware, card game.
This is a version of standard six card cribbage played with a single deck of cards. A game continues until one player has scored one hundred and twenty-one points or more, i.e. they don't have to achieve exactly that number to win.
The game uses the standard skunk ruling that if a player wins, i.e. scores one hundred and twenty-one points, before their opponent scores ninety points then the win counts as two wins. There's also an optional double-skunk rule whereby if a player wins before their opponent scores sixty points it counts as three wins, if it is before ninety points it counts as two wins.
A match consists of the first player to win five games.
The game is played entirely with the mouse. There are options to change the card backs, the colour of the game area and the shape of the board and there are many kinds of game statistics. It was designed to support both internet play and publishing of scores on the game's website but these functions are, as at 2013, no longer working.
