Crosses

Crosses is a 2-player board game for the TI-99/4A.

The player and their opponent attempt to create crosses on a 5×5, 7×7, 9×9, or 11×11 board. Opponents take turns placing pieces one at a time. When a cross is created, marked by five squares forming a cross formation, then the computer checks back retroactively to see which player placed the piece at the center of the cross. This then causes all pieces of the cross to change to that color. This can create a domino effect creating other crosses. The player with the most crosses at the end of the game is the winner.
