Crown Blades
Description
Crown Blades is a story-driven match-three game. It prominently features Christian allegory, following the player as a Crown Blade Tamer who tries to tame elemental creatures called Crown Blades in order to go an adventure to restore all of the pieces of the Eternal Crown Blade. That is a weapon originally made by The Creator and is said to be powerful enough to defeat Death and allow for eternal life. The Eternal Crown Blade was previously wielded by The Creator's son, A.O., who sacrificed his life defending players from Death.
The gameplay uses a split screen, with the top half displaying the enemy that the player is fighting and the area that they are progressing through while the bottom half of the screen is a set of orbs that the player can drag to match into chains of three or more, causing them to disappear and increase the player's score. That way, their Crown Blades can attack the enemies in the top half of the screen. Various different Crown Blades can be recruited with different attacks and Special Abilities. There is also a health system the player needs to manage.
