Crusader Kings II: Legacy of Rome

Legacy of Rome is the second expansion for Crusader Kings II and it focuses on the Byzantine Empire as well as on the Orthodox Church. The new faction system allows the player to join a faction to put pressure on hid/hers liege and keep track of factions in their realm. Other features that are introduced are that players can now raise standing armies in their domains, through the use of retinues, factional revolts are introduced where disgruntled vassals can band together in revolt against the players rule through their faction and orthodox kingdoms and empires can now appoint orthodox patriarchs, instead of being dependent on the patriarch of Constantinople.
