Crystal Raider

Crystal Raider is a shareware predecessor to the commercial game Crystal Quest. The game works much the same as the later game with the player moving a circular space ship around with the mouse while attempting to collect all the crystals on the screen. At the same time it is necessary to watch out for (or shoot) the enemies that spawn from portals located at the sides of the screen. Once all crystals have been collected a gate opens that the player has to move into to advance to the next level. Any contact with the enemies, the portals or the gate leads to a life being lost.
