Cultures: The Beginning

Cultures: The Beginning is a simple action game, released to promote the strategy game Cultures.

The player controls a Viking warrior and his objective on each level is to collect all the gold scattered around. Various enemies, such as bears or human warriors, are walking around the level and decrease the Viking's health if they touch him. If all health runs out, the Viking loses a life and is transported back to the beginning of the level.

The player can find a bow which allows him to shoot and kill enemies, and destroy the start points from which they keep respawning, though if the player loses a life all the respawn points reappear. It's also possible to find meat which restores health and shoes which speed up the player.
