Cupcake Corner

Cupcake Corner is a bakery management game. The player owns a bakery and can cook a wide range of baked goods and sweets such as cupcakes, caramel apples, brownies, cinnamon rolls and madeleines. Multiple stoves can be managed at the same time. One stove can cook only one product, and this usually requires waiting an amount of time ranging from a couple of minutes to hours and even an entire day, all in real time. The player must come back when the sweets are finished, decorate them and serve them. Otherwise they will get spoiled. The player can choose what to bake from the list of recipes supplied by the game. Successfully cooking a recipe generates both coins and XP. By earning more XP, the player can progress to higher levels, and in turn gain access to other recipes.

The bakery makes money every time a customer buys something. They will also leave tips, which are bigger if the shop is nicely decorated (the Luxe rating, which can go up to 500). In exchange for coins, different items can be purchased, such as floor tiles, tables, chairs, windows, wallpapers, doors etc. This will increase the bakery's Luxe rating. The number of customers itself depends on how satisfied they are, which can be tracked with the game's Satisfaction rating. This rating will decrease if there is nothing available for purchase.

Cupcake Corner has two main forms of currency: coins and cash. Most transactions are done in coins, either buying regular furniture, selling cupcakes or paying the temp workers. Instead of paying temp workers, the player can invite Facebook friends to work for free. Extra coins can also be earned by visiting the friends' personal bakeries or by working for them. Exquisite items are usually available only in cash (which is harder to acquire). Cash can also be used to speed up the baking process.
