Cy-Clone

Description
Cy-Clone is a fast-paced horizontal scrolling shoot 'em up game, where the player must take control on Secret Prototype (the ultimate spherical fighter jet) that has the function to pull and scan enemies with its pulling beam, clone their forms and abilities, expel them as a meteor-like projectile, and even catch enemy projectiles to launch them at the enemies and bosses - similar to what Kirby does.
The game itself also draws a significant inspiration from the 1980's and 1990's era of shmups for arcade machines, 16-bit and 32-bit home consoles - mostly from the shmup game franchises such as R-Type and Darius.
The plot of Cy-Clone involves Secret Prototype being the mankind's last hope to fight evil alien forces, destroy the main alien base located somewhere on an unknown extraterrestrial biosphere and save mankind from destruction caused by the invasion of alien forces on Earth.
Each cloned enemy form has its own primary attack and secondary attack. Primary attack can be used indefinitely, while the secondary attack on use consumes certain amount of energy indicated with a blue bar above the screen that refills automatically and flashes white at a certain point meaning that the secondary attack can be used. Health is indicated with a red bar above the screen and can be refilled by collecting health bonuses. At the end of each act, player has to fight the boss. At the start of each act, there's an FMV cut-scene.
Player can score more points by being the same cyber clone (bonded with the same enemy form) for a long time without expelling it or dying. Player can also score more points by doing the rapid expel combos. Player in the main menu settings can set one of two difficulty levels (Easy or Hard), number of lives (up to 9 in Easy, up to 5 in Hard) and control scheme (Mouse or Keyboard) on his own. The game also features 9 awards (achievements) and the unlockable Interstellar Crab mini-game in main menu settings, where player takes control on the crab that shoots laser bullets at purple aliens.
