D.O.A.S.: Department of Applied Science

The story: In the early 1950s a parallel dimension was confirmed. Throughout the years many governments developed devices to establish transitions between these worlds. The other dimension has a dark and uninhabitable atmosphere without day or night and a permanent misty view. Several administrations warned that the barrier between the two worlds seemed unstable and thinned out. Concepts for containment procedures are in development. The first random incidents of transitions occurred in late 2012. People are disappearing since then. As a member of the mid-level security personnel you are equipped with a decryption pad. Unfortunately you are thrown by accident into a part of the parallel dimension which is already deserted. Now you have to find your way back!

The game: In every chapter you have to find all the memory cards to open the transition to the next chapter. Avoid the enemies, and everything with thorns. If you found all memory cards the transition to the next chapter materialized. This will be shown on top of the screen. Search the area for the appeared transition and walk into it. You will be moved to the next chapter. If you die you start the chapter from the beginning. You have infinite lives and your progress is saved automatically. Every commenced chapter is saved as available and can be played again any time. You can choose them from the chapters menu item.
