Daemon Detective Gaiden II
Description
Daemon Detective Gaiden II is an action platformer, largely similar to Super Mario World.
During the opening of the newest art exhibit at the New Magma City art museum all the visitors disappear! In their place mystical new paintings have appeared, showing strange worlds. The New Magma City Penguin police force again calls in the Daemon Detectives, who must collect the eight magical painting fragments, each hidden in a different world.
You can jump on most enemies to defeat them, and there are several different plants that can be acquired from item boxes that each give you special powers and abilities. Coins collected throughout the stages can be used to purchase additional power-ups from stores located on the world map.
Each stage has three hidden paintings, and you need to collect a certain number to unlock the next world.
There are several different characters to choose from with differing stats and special abilities. The game can be played co-operatively with up to 4 players, and there is also an additional VS mode.
