Dambusters

Dambusters is a side-scrolling arcade game based upon World War II's Operation Chastise (also known as the "Dambusters Raid").

The player controls a British aircraft with the goal of destroying German hydroelectric dams by bouncing bombs into them over the water. The plane moves in all directions, and has a nose and tail gun used to shoot down defending German planes. As the player approaches the water, spotlights appear that allow the player to judge the correct distance and height to release their bomb, which will hopefully bounce into the dam and destroy it. The player has three planes in total, and each successful dam destroyed leads to a higher challenge, adding more defending planes and anti-aircraft guns.
