Dariusburst: Another Chronicle

An arcade version of Dariusburst with improved graphics, more content and four player support. In true Darius arcade style, two wide LCD monitors are installed side by side, where one is reflected by a mirror to create the illusion of an seamless ultra wide playfield, not generally achievable at the time. The Body Sonic feature of the original was built in to be cabinet where an immense subwoofer shakes the seat in accordance with gameplay.
A new gameplay addition is a turn mechanic where on the touch of a button the ship flips 180 degrees.

The game is divided into "Original Mode" and "Chronicle Mode"

• Original - in typical Darius fashion offers a selection of branching paths to choose from, with different endings and increasing difficulty.
• Chronicle - Over 2000 levels where some require more than one player. Goals must be met to liberate areas that are remembered between games, making it a community effort to unlock all.
