Das Genesis Projekt: Respawn of the Human Dynasty is a German text-based, persistent survival sandbox and post-apocalyptic sci-fi RPG. Set on the planet Exarch, the game follows the last remnants of humanity who fled an uninhabitable Earth to establish a new colony. Combining modern knowledge with limited resources in an unfamiliar world, players must collaborate to acquire skills and talents essential for advancing the colony.

Gameplay revolves around exploration and resource management on a handcrafted map featuring diverse materials waiting to be discovered. There are also simulated processes like smelting, salt production, animal breeding, and plant cultivation (with genetic mechanics). Players can unlock over 120 talents, 200 construction blueprints, and 350 items while managing a free-market economy, logistics, and urban development. Hunger, thirst, fatigue, and other simulated effects challenge players to prioritize survival and efficiency. The sandbox environment also allows for a player-driven political system. The game has a cooperative and pacifist approach—there is no warfare, encouraging extensive collaboration among players.
