Dazzler

Dazzler is a multi-level fixed screen arcade game containing levels with two stages. The first is a top-down maze game where you are pursued by evil vultures. To avoid touching the vultures, you can drop a small number of snakes. When a vulture meets a snake, they get in a fight, and while it is distracted it will not bother you. There are seven locked doors at both the top and bottom of the screen. Opening these will either let loose another vulture, or will contain a banana. When you get a banana, a monkey will appear from one of the other locked doors. Giving all of the bananas to the monkeys will complete the stage.

The second stage is very reminiscent of the first level of Donkey Kong . A winding path leads to a monkey trapped in a cage at the top of the screen. Evil vultures patrol the top of the screen, laying eggs at you. You need to jump over obstacles, climb ladders, and avoid the eggs to reach the cage.

Completing both stages takes you to the next level, which will have a different maze layout (stage 1) and more obstacles and frequency of laid eggs (stage 2). Every eight levels, there is a brief cut-scene, before the action starts again at a faster speed.
