DC League of Super-Pets: The Adventures of Krypto and Ace

DC League of Super-Pets: The Adventures of Krypto and Ace is a rail shooter with the characters from the movie DC League of Super-Pets. In this game, Lex Luthor has started capturing the stray animals of Metropolis for his zoo. Presumably he has some dastardly plot. Krypto and Ace the Bat-Hound team up to stop him.

Both characters play similarly, with the only significant difference being the power-up each has. Each level has the dog flying through the city, using heat vision (Krypto) or batarangs (Ace) to take out Lex Luthor's robots. The main goal is to reach the end of the level without dying, but it is possible to find and pick up stray animals. There are also boss battles. Special attacks are freeze breath (Krypto) or homing batarangs (Ace). Before each mission, the player can also select a sidekick character that can provide a power-up; this includes a double for extra firepower or increased agility.

Between missions, it is possible to upgrade the player's stats, or adopt the stray pets picked up during missions. By selecting the proper toy or food, the stray will become friendlier. Once the stray pet is friendly enough, the player can select an appropriate person to adopt the pet.
