Death Stranding

Description
Death Stranding is an action game set in a post-apocalyptic United States following a mysterious disaster known as the "Death Stranding". This event caused invisible, otherworldly creatures called Beached Things (BTs) to appear on Earth, along with deadly rainfall known as Timefall that rapidly deteriorates anything it touches. Survivors have retreated to isolated colonies, with infrastructure largely destroyed.
Players control Sam Porter Bridges, a courier for the organization BRIDGES, tasked with delivering supplies to isolated settlements and reconnecting them via a communications network called the Chiral Network. The game features a large open world and incorporates asynchronous multiplayer elements, allowing players to leave supplies, structures, and messages that others can use, though direct interaction with other players does not occur.
Gameplay emphasizes traversal, resource management, and environmental navigation. Players carry and deliver cargo, manage Sam's stamina and balance, and use tools like ropes, ladders, and vehicles. Cargo condition and delivery performance affect player progression, with positive actions rewarded through a "like" system. The game includes encounters with human enemies called MULEs and Demens, as well as BTs, which can only be detected using special equipment or through Sam's abilities.
