Death's Apprentice
Description
Death's Apprentice is an action platformer, inspired by both horror films and cartoons, where you play as the titular apprentice to the grim reaper.
The apprentice can defeat enemies by throwing scythes, whose range can be upgraded by collecting icons and with the highest level also bouncing off enemies for combo potential. He also has a limited-use special attack for desprate situations. Extra lives are awarded every 1000 points or by finding an ankh icon.
The game takes place over 21 stages, with a boss battle every few stages. Some stages are autoscrolling.
