Demons with Shotguns

Demons with Shotguns is a four-player local deathmatch platform shooter game. Each player starts with a full loaded shotgun and a grenade. Characters also have dash, double jump and melee attack moves, as well as a shield that on use will not only block most damage but in many cases deflect projectiles back to the attacker. In most cases a single hit is enough to kill a character. Shotgun ammo and grenade refills periodically respawn at a specific place on the arena. Randomly spawning tarot cards will give one of several temporary enchantments.

The game has nine different competitive game modes with free-for-all and team variants of multiplayer classics such as deathmatch, capture the flag and king of the hill. There is also a wave-based mode against enemies for 1-2 players, taking place across five increasingly difficult arenas which each bring a new enemy type.
