Desktop Taipei

Desktop Taipei is an adaptation of the Mahjongg Solitaire strategy game. The player must remove matching pairs of mahjongg tiles. Both matching tiles must be "free" (unblocked from one side). The player's objective is to remove all the tiles from the board.

If there are no matches possible, the player can ask to reshuffle the remaining tiles. However, the number of available reshuffles is limited and the final score is dependent on the number of reshuffles used.

The game offers many different starting tile layouts, as well as the ability to create and edit custom layouts. Several different tilesets and background images are available. At any moment the player can view a step-by-step solution of the current layout.
