Destiny

Destiny is a 1-player space combat game for the TRS-80.

All other starships have been destroyed. All but one of the Klingon invasion bases have been destroyed. The remaining base has no propulsion, however, there are a number of Klingon star fighters in the area. Your mission is to destroy the last Klingon invasion base.

Played from a 1st person perspective, the player can control their plane internal and plane external angle of direction positive and negative, and can also change their thrust to positive or negative to navigate space. The player has a limited number of photon torpedoes which take a period of time to prepare, and can then be fired at nearby enemies. The player can also adjust their shield strength, lay mines, or operate an emergency warp drive. All ship statistics are displayed numerically on the side of the screen. The goal is to destroy the incoming Klingon vessels, and then navigate to and destroy the Klingon base.
