Dinosaur

Dinosaur is a 1-player arcade game for the TRS-80.

You are a caveman trying to steal eggs from a dinosaur. You must throw rocks to temporarily stun them. The caveman can move left and right. When far away from the dinosaur, rocks are thrown vertically upwards to hit egg stealing birds. Closer, rocks are thrown at 45 degrees, and if they hit the dinosaur, it's temporarily stunned. The dinosaur has four phases: looking away from player, standing up, looking towards the player, and breathing fire. The dinosaur can only be hit while standing up, and can kill the player if he's standing too close while breathing fire. Every 6 eggs stolen, the player advances to a new level. The player has 3 lives, and it's game over when all are lost.
