Disc Golf Online

Disc Golf Online is based on the sport of disc, or frisbee golf which is played much like real golf but the players throw frisbees into baskets instead of hitting balls into holes. This game can be played either as a single player game or as a player-vs-player internet game.

It uses keyboard controls to move the player around the course and the mouse to aim the disc. To aim the disc, the player left clicks to engage the shot-taking process, lines up the direction they want to throw, adjusts the strength of the throw with the scroll wheel and then clicks again. The second click brings up a series of vertical bars and a red line sweeps across the screen from left to right. To get a true shot, the player clicks the mouse again when the red line is in the central green region. When the player is close to the basket, they switch to 'putting mode' which operates in the same way but the bars are horizontal and the red line moves from the bottom of the screen to the top.

Disc Golf Online is played on a nine-hole golf course and all of the courses are procedurally generated by the game.
