DK: King of Swing - Hurling for Distance
Description
This Flash game was created by Nintendo to promote the Game Boy Advance game DK: King of Swing. The player controls Donkey Kong, who is hanging from a peg by one hand. In his other hand, he is holding a rock. The goal is to throw the rock as far as possible. Tires are used as distance markers. Clicking on Donkey Kong causes him to start swinging from the peg in a circle. Clicking him again makes him throw the rock. Care must be taken to make sure Donkey Kong is facing the right way, as hurling the rock backwards results in a negative score. The distance hurled depends on both Donkey Kong's angle and momentum. Once the rock is hurled and stops, Cranky Kong tells the player how far it was hurled.
