DoDonPachi Dai-Ou-Jou DX

Dodonpachi Dai-Ou-Jou DX is a simplified port of Cave's arcade shooter Dodonpachi Dai-Ou-Jou. It keeps the original game's concept intact: players take on a member of the Dodonpachi squadron, paired with one of three "Element Doll" co-pilots, as they try to save the earth from an invasion of Mechanized Aliens. The three Element Dolls represent different playstyles: Shotia provides players with a powered up shot and a large reserve of bombs; Leinyan has a powered up laser and a moderate reserve of bombs; and Exy has both a powered up shot and laser, but only a single bomb. The enemy placements and shot patterns have been altered due to the limitations of 2005-era phones, although the artwork and levels are recognizable. The original game's trademark chain combo system remains, though the new enemy formations mean that the combo timing has been altered.
