Donkey Kong: Original Edition

Donkey Kong: Original Edition is an attempt to take the Nintendo Entertainment System port of Donkey Kong and make it more like the arcade original. While still inferior to the original coin-op in terms of cutscenes, graphics, and sound, it has restored the 50M level, which was absent on most home ports.

It was pre-installed on several Wii consoles included in special bundles in PAL regions. These bundles include:

• The New Super Mario Bros. Wii Pack, containing a red Wii console, red Wii Remote Plus, red Nunchuk, New Super Mario Bros. Wii, Wii Sports, and Donkey Kong: Original Edition.
• The Mario Kart Wii Pack, containing a black Wii console, black Wii Remote Plus, black Nunchuk, black Wii Wheel, Mario Kart Wii, Wii Sports, and Donkey Kong: Original Edition

Donkey Kong: Original Edition is also available on Nintendo 3DS through special Club Nintendo offers.
