Doomsday

In Doomsday the player must save the cities of Vancouver, Chicago, Moscow and Los Angeles from an incoming meteor swarm. Every city represents a level of difficulty: Easy, Medium, Hard and Impossible, respectively. The player operates two missile launchers fixed to the ground. He must shoot all falling meteors, comets and space debris knocked off the orbit using the mouse, while avoiding all civilian aircraft. Additionally a super weapon can be activated when in trouble - it destroys all hostile objects on the screen.

Both types of weapons have limited ammo. However, at the end of each wave the player is resupplied with more ammunition. The game is over when the entire city is destroyed.
