Downstone: The Revenge of the Stoonies
Description
Downstone: The Revenge of the Stoonies is a Puyo Puyo variant for one or two players.
On a distant planet the evil Gorcs want to conquer the southern hemisphere inhabited by the peaceful Stoonies. To reach this purpose, the Gorcs need to deactivate a gravity shield on an island called DownStone. They kidnap and brainwash a Stoonie called Yuky who deactivates the shield leaving the Stoonies helpless against the Gorcs A brave Stoonie called Torn steps forward to fight the Gorcs, save Yuky and return eleven precious stones & two emeralds tor reactivate the gravity shield.
There are three modes to play the game: * History Mode: Defeat the ten evil Gorcs and then fight Yuky to save the Stoonies * Battle Mode: Play against the CPU or a local second player. * Tournament Mode: Fight in random order against evil Gorcs and then against Yuky. This mode becomes available once History Mode is completed.
