Dungeon Chess
Description
Dungeon Chess is a single player and network game which replaces and enhances the previous Dungeon Chess for OS/2. The graphics are enhanced and the playability is enhanced also. There are more features aimed to improve intuitivity. The game is played on a chess board playing field, with the choice of a single board (like traditional chess), or two boards (aka 2D), or three boards (aka 3D). The board(s) are hereafter referred as Dungeons.
The dungeons contain sixty-four rooms in an 8x8 grid format, like a common chess board. As you play, you will only see the rooms that you can move in to, based on the positioning of your own pieces. If none of your pieces can access a particular room(s), that room(s) will be invisible to you. Opponent pieces might be there or not. Thereby, it incorporates the actions of traditional chess, and aspects of the role-playing game Dungeons and Dragons. There is a 'help' feature included, refer to the help interface for any and all significant instructions and guidance.
