Dungeons of Kesmai

Dungeons of Kesmai is a six-player dungeon crawler and predecessor to popular early 1980s MUD Island of Kesmai. The game takes inspiration from Dungeons & Dragons for its fantasy setting. The rooms the players explore are drawn in ASCII graphics. It features mostly combat gameplay and very little puzzle solving.

The initial version of the game was written in BASIC and only allowed for a single player, but it was rewritten in 1980 in UCSD Pascal to allow for six players.
