Ego: La Leggenda del Drago Distruttore

Ego: La Leggenda del Drago Distruttore is an adventure/strategy game in Italian. The story takes place in a fantasy version of the Middle Ages, where the evil Arakh, High Priest of the Cult of the Spider, seeks to conquer the world. Gerard, a paladin of Charlemagne who also appears in the game La Spada della Foresta Vivente, recruits Ego, the titular dragon, to fight against Arakh and his cult.

You play as Ego, and gameplay involves selecting different destinations on a map of the world. On these destinations, appearing as fixed pre-rendered 3D images and sometimes with short animations, you will find items and allies who pledge to fight alongside Ego, but also enemies that you can fight in simple turn-based battles, while also meeting with Gerard and helping him get to different places. You also have 5 different stats which you can replenish in some destinations: Flame, Vigour, Perception, Virtue and Karma.

In addition, there's a "Hypertext" section that acts as a historical index where information can be found about dragons and different places, myths and legends of the world.
