Egyptian Adventure
Description
Egyptian Adventure is a 1-player text adventure for the BBC Micro.
Relaxing at home one day, reading The Times, the player sees that the eminent archaeologist Professor Johnson was recently found dead floating in the Nile near Heliopolis while in search of the tomb of Princess Ankhnesnerefibre. Ankhnesnerefibre was once the most powerful woman in Egypt, but no records of her can be found after the Persian invasion of 525 BC. She is rumored to have been buried with great riches. Intrigued by this story, the player decided to mount their own expedition to find the tomb.
Starting on the streets of Heliopolis, the player must explores the streets of the city to gather the resources necessary to mount an expedition. From there, they must find her tomb and delve deep into its depths to solve its secrets. All commands are via VERB NOUN entry.
