Eishockey Manager 2009

Eishockey Manager 2009 is a managerial simulation where the player is responsible for the financial and athletic success of his hockey team. He has all the established options to his disposal, including lineup, tactics, training, player transfers, searching for sponsors or expanding the stadium respectively the stadium environment. There are also several options regarding the player's private life and if the player is successful he can divide additional points to his character stats, e.g. training or negotiation. The athletes abilities are represented with pucks in different colors and sizes instead of the usual numbers.

The matches can be watched in basically two modes with a few variations: a 3D mode where the most important scenes are shown in a 3D engine or a text mode where all important scenes are described in text lines. The player has multiple leagues and teams to choose from, including national teams, but the only licensed one is the first German league DEL.
