Eiyū Densetsu Sāga

Description
Eiyū Densetsu Sāga is a Japanese maze adventure game in which you, a hero, venture into a deep forest to rescue a girl named Linda. According to her sister's plea for help, she has been sent to the North Valley by the king as a sacrifice in hopes of appeasing the dragon's anger. In order to defeat the dragon, you must first find a sacred weapon somewhere in the valley.
The dialogue and text is in Japanese, but all the actions and movement commands are in English. This is done by selecting commands from the menu on the right of the screen. Example: Look toward the left, Ask and Go forward. To navigate through the maze-like areas there are icons at the bottom left and right of the main screen that tells you what is on the left and right. When an enemy is encountered, you can choose one of the options, such as Fight, Escape or Ask. However, it can lead to the hero's death if you choose the wrong option. There are also hazardous areas in the game that also can lead to the hero's death, such as falling in a pitfall trap.
There are some minor differences between the systems. In the PC-9801 version, commands are selected by pressing the up and down cursor keys, while in the PC-8801 version, you have to press the space bar, to advance the cursor to the top. Unlike the PC-9801 and the PC-8801 releases, the Sharp MZ-2500 release has anime-style drawings instead digitized drawings. All the menus are now completely in Japanese and some of the commands (example: Kick) are missing. There are also extra scenes and characters.
There is no save/load option.
