El Dorado Quest

El Dorado Quest is a single player match-3 game.

The plot is about two explorers, Bob and Jane, who are searching in the Amazon for the legendary treasure of the Incas. They work out that to find it they need seven sacred amulets each of which has been broken into seven pieces. In game terms this equates to seven timed puzzles per level with each puzzle giving the player both a score and an amulet fragment.

The puzzles start off simply with the player having to match tiles over every square of the board to unlock the fragment and then make more matches to move that fragment to the bottom of the board where it floats away and the level ends. Later boards introduce the usual locked cells, and power ups such as hammers to remove awkward tiles, lightning bolts to remove entire columns etc.
