Eldus

Eldus is a 1-player arcade game for the TRS-80 CoCo.

You are King Ralum, the newly crowned ruler of Barthen. But, you have lost control of the land, and evil Wrelnins have invaded. Your father, old King Stalte, was the only one who could keep the bat-like Wrelnins away. Now you must find the Pool of Life, to give your father his youth back.

Played from a top-down perspective, the player must collect keys, jewels, fires, and the sword, a total of 21 items. They then must find the pool to win. The player exploring numerous screens while avoiding Wrelnins, which can rapidly damage the player. Doors and caves allow travel between different maps. The player can burn down trees after acquiring fire and the sword. The player has 3 lives, each life has 4 hearts, and the player loses half a life for each Wrelnin hit.
