Emily Blaster

Description
Emily Blaster is a shooter game based on the works of Emily Dickinson and the novel Tomorrow, and Tomorrow, and Tomorrow by Gabrielle Zavin. In each stage, the player is shown a random poem by Emily Dickenson; on the next screen, the words of that poem descend from the top of the screen and bounce randomly back and forth. The player must shoot the words with a "quill" in the correct order (being the order of the poem); points are lost if they destroy the words in the wrong order or miss one entirely and it drops off the screen. There are three levels, and the player's score will be tallied at the end, along with the opportunity to put their initials on a high score board if eligible.
The game appears in the book Tomorrow, and Tomorrow, and Tomorrow as the first game created by protagonist Sadie Green, which she presents as a game design student in class to mixed reviews.
