Escape from the Robots

Escape from the Robots is a 1-player arcade game for the TRS-80.

The player must outwit and outlast a number of robots that chase them on a field full of electric disintegrators. If the player or robot runs into a disintegrator, they are destroyed. If two robots run into each other, they are destroyed forming a junk heap. The player is armed with a transporter, that will move them randomly about the screen, but there is a risk it may malfunction, killing the player. The player moves in the cardinal directions, while the robots can also move on angles. There are two levels of difficulty, and victory is achieved by surviving all the robots. The player defines the number of robots and disintegrators.
