Escher Interactive

Description
Escher Interactive is a multimedia CD-ROM about the Dutch artist M. C. Escher. It features biographical information about the artist with videos and images, a Tessellation workshop where players can try to create their own images, animated Escher drawings, pictures of spheres with a magnifying function, creating morphing animations between two objects, magic images and two games:
-
Convex & Concave: An object is placed in a cutaway view of a room. The player needs to decide if another object fits the perspective and, if yes, where it has to be placed. If the choice was correct, a point is earned - but a wrong choice rewards a negative point. The goal is to accumulate as many points as possible before the timer runs out. There are three difficulty levels.
-
Impossible Puzzles: The player has to place the given shapes to create one of twelve so-called impossible shapes.
