EVR Race

Description

EVR Race is Nintendo's first game that uses true electronic video. Video footage is stored on EVR tape (Electronic Video Recording), which is similar to film, but the frames are scanned and transmitted electronically. Two versions of this game were released: horse racing and car racing (depending on the currently loaded tape). Different cabinets were available for as many as 1 to 10 players.

Each player bets on a horse or car at the start. Then, a prerecorded video of the race plays. Players are then rewarded based on the odds and the outcome.
