Exhaust

Exhaust is a platformer similar to the Trial Bike. The player controls a monster truck and needs to guide it to the level exit. The truck can accelerate (both directions), crouch to fit into small ways, jump (usually only useful after accelerating) and has a handbrake. The levels are designed around physics challenges: the player needs to accelerate properly in order to make the jumps and avoid to overshoot. Sometimes the environment also changes because of the physics, e.g. a wood-like structure may drop down when the truck lands on it.

When the truck is in the air, it is important to balance it properly with the left stick or otherwise it may land on its roof. Usually there is no comeback possible and the level has to be restarted. Depending on the finishing time, the player can receive a bronze, silver or gold medal for each level.
