Explore Yellowstone

Explore Yellowstone is a 1-player educational game for Windows and Macintosh.

As a junior ranger at Yellowstone National Park, the player must explore the park and identify various animals, plants, and geographic features. The player starts at the ranger station, where they can sign in, and learn about the various inhabitants of Yellowstone. When the player leaves the station, they ride around in their car to a variety of locations. A map shows the player where they are on the roads in the park. At each location, the player uses their binoculars to view a feature, and then must correctly identify it from a multiple choice list. The car radio provides information about each area. When the player returns to the station, they are asked a number of questions by visiting tourists. The player earns ranger badges as they identify more things.
